NZD price list — Picasso Dental Clinic, Vietnam

Itemised NZD dental prices at Picasso Dental Clinic Vietnam. Veneers from NZD 600, implants from NZD 1,667, All-on-4 from NZD 8,333. Per-tooth, per-implant, per-scan — never vague.

As of May 2026, Emax Press porcelain veneers at Picasso Dental Clinic cost NZD 600 per tooth, a single Osstem implant package (fixture, abutment, and crown) costs NZD 1,667, All-on-4 starts from NZD 8,333 per arch, and a Conebeam CT scan costs NZD 40, with all NZD prices converted from the May 2026 Picasso price reference at 1 NZD = 15,000 VND.

Prices are correct as of May 2026. Every figure is in NZD, converted from the Picasso price reference at 1 NZD = 15,000 VND.

This page exists because dental tourism has a pricing problem. Too many clinics advertise a low package, then bill the patient for scans, temporaries, grafting, and material upgrades that were never in the quote. We don’t do that.

How to read this page

Every line below is a building block, not a package. Your written quote stitches the relevant blocks together for your case.

A veneer case might include consultation, an OPG, a wax mock-up, temporary work, and 8 to 16 veneer units. An implant case might include the implant combo, a CBCT scan, possibly bone grafting, possibly a sinus lift, and a staged second trip. An All-on-4 case includes the arch line, prosthetic choice, extractions, blood tests, and a review period before you fly home.

The unit price is fixed. The number of units depends on what your imaging and exam confirm.

For implants, All-on-4, All-on-6, and complex full-mouth cases, the CBCT scan isn’t optional — it’s how the surgeon assesses bone height, bone width, sinus position, and nerve position before any drill touches your jaw. At NZD 40, the planning data costs less than a NZ co-pay.

Veneers, inlays, onlays

MaterialNZD per unitWarranty

Emax porcelain overlay or tabletop4675 years
Emax Press veneer6007 years
Emax Press Plus veneer6677 years
Non-prep Emax veneer7337 years
Lisi porcelain veneer8007 years

A 10-tooth Emax Press case is NZD 6,000 for the veneer units. The same 10 teeth at an Auckland private clinic typically runs NZD 15,000 to NZD 25,000 for the same material.

Honest callThe cheapest line isn't always the right one. Composite veneers cost less and preserve more tooth, but they stain and chip faster. Porcelain costs more upfront and is usually the right long-term choice for a smile makeover. See the veneers guide before you pick a material.

Crowns and bridges (per unit)

CERCON HT / Ceramill Zolid5335–7 years
Emax6007 years
Lava73310 years

ORODENT1,13310 years

A three-unit bridge uses three units. Four crowns use four units. If an old crown needs removal, re-cementing, a core build-up, or a post, those lines appear in your quote too.

Crowns aren’t a faster veneer. A crown covers the whole tooth and requires more preparation. It’s the right answer for a heavily filled, cracked, or root-canal treated tooth — but it shouldn’t be sold as a veneer shortcut.

Neodent2,000
SIC2,000

Every combo above includes the fixture, the abutment, and the final crown. NZ private rates for the same brands typically sit at NZD 6,000 to NZD 9,000.

Watch outDon't compare an implant quote unless you know whether the fixture, abutment, and crown are all included. A cheap "fixture-only" quote can look better than it is until you add the missing parts.

Full-arch quotes need careful reading. Confirm whether your quote includes extractions, provisional teeth, the final bridge, review appointments, and any lab upgrades. Then ask how long you need to stay in Vietnam after surgery before flying home. Read the All-on-4 guide before comparing price alone.

This is where implant quotes most often change. Some patients have enough bone for a straightforward implant. Others need grafting first. The decision should come from your CBCT scan, not from a surprise on the day of surgery.

What this means for your quoteIf your written estimate lists grafting as "may be required, pending CBCT", that's honest planning. If it lists no grafting at all and then bills for it on arrival, that's a red flag.

These aren’t usually the reason to fly. They’re add-ons inside a larger plan. A single filling won’t justify a flight. Several crowns, veneers, or implants might.

Dentures often need adjustment as your gums heal. If your case involves extractions, ask how relines, temporary dentures, and follow-up timing get handled before you fly back.

Example builds

These aren’t quotes. They show how the line items combine for typical cases.

CaseLikely Picasso lines (NZD)

The break-even for dental tourism sits around NZD 4,000 to NZD 5,000 of treatment value. Below that, flights and time off work erase the saving.

What your written quote covers

A proper Picasso quote should make the plan understandable before you book any flights.

  • Every tooth or unit line, individually priced
  • Implant brand and tier when implants are involved
  • Grafting, scans, temporaries, blood tests, and prosthetic add-ons
  • Warranty term for each material
  • Estimated treatment timeline and days in Vietnam
  • Anything that can change after the in-person exam, with the reason why

What’s not included

  • Flights and accommodation
  • Meals and incidentals
  • Travel insurance
  • Visa fees, if applicable
  • Lost wages or annual leave
  • Treatment by a NZ dentist before or after
  • Unrelated medical care

The cost guide compares treatment + travel side by side, not clinic fees in isolation.

Pricing transparency, sterilisation, and clinical safety

A lower price list only matters when the clinical environment is genuinely safe. Some low-cost dental tourism operators cut prices by reusing single-use items or using unbranded materials. We don’t.

Every Picasso procedure uses strict sterilisation protocols. All materials — Emax, Lava, Straumann, Nobel Biocare, Osstem, and the rest — are fully traceable with serial numbers and manufacturer warranties.

Frequently asked questions

Are these prices final for New Zealand patients?

These are the published clinic price lines as of May 2026. Your written NZD quote confirms which lines apply after photos, OPG, or in-person review. Grafting, brand tier, tooth count, scans, temporaries, and material upgrades can change the total.

When were these prices last updated?

Prices are correct as of May 2026, converted from the Picasso Dental Clinic price reference at 1 NZD = 15,000 VND. The page is reviewed monthly. The next scheduled review is June 2026.

Are prices in NZD or VND?

Every figure on this page is in New Zealand dollars for Kiwi planning. The clinic accepts payment by Visa or Mastercard POS in Vietnam, by Vietnamese bank transfer, or by VND cash on site.

Does Picasso publish itemised prices for everything?

Yes. Picasso publishes per-tooth, per-implant, per-scan, and per-procedure line items in both VND and NZD, rather than hiding cost behind a consultation-only quote. Patients see the building blocks before they fly.

Why might my final NZD quote differ from this page?

A final plan depends on your X-rays, photos, gum health, bone volume, bite, tooth count, and chosen materials. Price lines on this page are fixed. The number and type of lines that apply to your case are confirmed after clinical review.

What is included in the implant combo price at Picasso?

Each single implant combo at Picasso includes the fixture, the abutment, and the crown. Combo prices range from NZD 1,667 for Osstem to NZD 3,000 for Straumann BLX as of May 2026. CBCT planning, bone grafting, sinus augmentation, and other adjuncts are quoted separately when clinically needed.
